After serving a chai concentrate in our retail locations for many years, we thought that we could create something better, something more authentic.  Many chai concentrates are just too sweet, and Doug Palas, Intelligentsia Tea Buyer, wanted to create something that struck just the right balance between sweet and spicy.  We think that he found the right place, and after drinking a hot chai latte or iced chai beverage, we know that you are bound to agree.

Our chai is a blend of black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, clove and ginger. It’s the place where spicy and sweet meet in perfect balance.

This bottle makes a total of 264 ounces (approx. 2 gallons) of prepared chai.

Ingredients: An infusion of (filtered water, organic black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, clove, ginger), organic evaporated cane juice, organic molasses and vanilla.
