Reminiscent of spiced cider, the Nyakizu lot comes across as crisp, a bit tangy and incredibly inviting.  Following the tantalizing aromatics of jasmine and molasses, notes of sweet licorice root and dried currant wash across the palate. The acidity appears as ripened tangerines and candied lemons, adding zest to the cup without overpowering it.  A finish of mulling spices - clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom - lingers pleasantly on the tongue.  A warming cup for a chilly season!
