MILLENNIUM PARK - MILLENNIUM PARK BARISTA OF THE MONTH
Christina Sepa is the Millennium Park Barista of the Month for January and February 2007.
Christina Sepa is the Millennium Park Barista of the Month for January/February 2007. She has worked at the Mill Park Café since Intelligentsia opened its doors in April of ’06 and can usually be found in the pedway in the mornings.
Intelligentsia is Christina’s first job in the world of coffee. Before she started working here her motto was “anywhere but Starbucks.” Before this position she was a flight attendant, a Disney “cast member,” and a theater student. “I like to think of myself as constantly reinventing.”
Christina’s favorite drink is the mocha. “I hope I don’t get chastised by the coffeegeeks for saying this, but I love the mocha. Chocolate, milk, and espresso, a perfect combination! When I was in kindergarten, my teacher used to drink coffee every morning. I remember going over to her desk and enjoying the smell. Even at that tender age, I knew I would someday be a coffee drinker.”
In her spare time, Christina likes concerts, bowling (she has her own ball named Homer), attending White Sox games, traveling, randomly breaking out in song and/or dance, board games, attending live theater, and hanging out with her boyfriend and his cats. Oh, and Christina is mildly obsessed with frogs.
“It’s the regulars that make this job so great. Familiar faces can be so reassuring.” | | Wonderful art. | | | | A customer favorite. | | | | Service with a smile. | | |
